Boise police began their investigation Aug. 11 after being called to a local hospital after getting a report that a 4-year-old boy was lethargic, with slurred speech and bloodshot eyes, according to reports.
Officers determined that the 30-year-old Medina Green took the boy to the hospital after he ate a marijuana-laced Rice Krispie treat, which had been left in a cupboard at the couple’s home in the Sunrise Rim/Vista Avenue neighborhood earlier that day, according to reports.
Police say the boy ate the Rice Krispie treat when the 35-year-old Tony Green was not home and Medina Green was asleep, according to reports.
Police did not say if the Green’s are the parents of the boy but did say he was well known to them.
